Our next, free, Couch to 5k program is yet to be confirmed. Our last group all just successfully graduated at the end of May 2025.
This structured program will take you from in front of the TV to your local Parkrun in just 10 weeks.
Our qualified run leaders - Adele, Tracey and Andrew, gradually build up your running stamina and fitness, through a mix of walking and jogging. Making it an accessible way to start running without feeling overwhelmed.
It will also provide you with a sense of accomplishment by achieving a tangible goal of finishing a 5K ParkRun.

There are plenty of benefits from getting into running. For starters, it's an easy way of improving your physical health.

There are also mental benefits of running. Taking on the challenge of Couch to 5K can help boost your confidence and self-belief, as you prove to yourself that you can set yourself a target and achieve a goal.
Running regularly can also be a great stress reliever and has even been shown to combat depression.
